LiveRemote is a dedicated iOS control surface for Ableton Live 8 presenting a totally integrated remote solution for Ableton users.

LiveRemote connects to Ableton via CoreMidi networking technology with incredibly low latency of between 1-3ms. LiveRemote is compatible with both Mac and Windows.
Control your session from the comfort of your couch, or whilst walking around the room. LiveRemote gives you direct and precise control over the following Live features:
Mixer:
*Control up to 8 faders at a time + the Master with solo, mute, record also available.
*High Resolution Precise meter readings of the audible decibels for each channel.
Clip Launcher:
*Launch clips direct from your device, using the 8*5 matrix.
*Launch scenes, or stop them at any time.
*Move around your session easily with the control arrows, the clip launcher will activate any clips that are within the red box highlighted in Live.
Channel Strip:
For each channel you have precise and fast control on the pan and upto 3 send channels.
Plugin Control:
Simply and easily control the plugins for each selected channel, LiveRemote automaps the available controls of the selected device.
Transport Control:
All the necessary transport controls such as Play, Record, Stop ect are implemented for quick, on the fly recording.

Had trouble getting this going, but the developers were very responsive and now it runs smoothly with Live. Very good auto-mapping once you get get everything configured properly. If you have controllerist tendencies , this will satisfy the itch.
DO NOT BUY. i wasted $6 on this. Cant actually use this without looking at your computer anyway since information is only sent one way. There is no way to see whats currently playing, what clip youre selecting, and no way to change devices or effects. Also the customer service is horrible. They told me they had an update coming out to fix these problems 2 months ago and never made it, and now theyre just ignoring my emails.
Does not work as advertised. After several hours trying various configurations in OS 10.7, still no success. The screenshots show clip indicators in the app but this does not happen. Furthermore, achieving even basic transport functionality requires manually modifying the Ableton app package on the Mac and downloading additional software. This app does not work and because of the modifications required for any results it should be pulled from the App Store.
I bought this just for the clip launch feature and couldnt get it to work without manually mapping each grid space. Not worth the effort. Really disappointing...
This is a great app, follow the instructions on their website carefully and it works great, functions just like an apc40 for $6, cant beat it!
